Julie is no stranger to the Executive Director role having served in this role with other associations for nearly a decade . She brings with her 20+ years of experience in various administration, sales and customers roles working both in the not for profit and for profit sector. She has close ties to Beaumont, spending the last 18 years in and around the community. Hunter Gates

President

Hunter has been in the arts and entertainment industry for more than thirty-three years and is the founder and Managing Director of RuminariLive Arts in Beaumont where under her direction, they are host to local, regional, national and international professionals and novices.  She is working on many projects involving her passions of theatre, art, film, education and people.  As a Director/performer, Hunter travels with an international team of hospital clowns to Ecuador, Costa Rica and Mexico.  For the past 32 years, she works internationally on indie film as a stunt coordinator.  Hunter is a certified stage combat instructor, a Lecoqian pedagog and a certified Stunt performer and teacher.   She was also the founding artistic director (1996 to 2016) of The Hunter Gates Academy of Physical Theatre, a school specializing in training, new-play creation and international collaborations.

Kathryn Hotte

Past President

Kathryn, President & Chief Learning Office, Hotte Consulting, brings with her 30+ years of experience in sales and corporate executive management as well as developing and facilitating training programs in over 16 countries. Kathryn has received many accolades over the years, including national and international awards for sales achievement, Economic Development of Alberta awards for RABC Business Incubator and Raising the Roof in Rural Alberta, Women of Influence Award in the Business & Professional Category and, most notably, a Training Excellence award from the Canadian Society for Training & Development. She was formerly the President of the Durham Ontario Home & Small Business Association in Ontario and received a Business of the Year Award through that association. Kathryn is the President & Chief Learning Officer for her company Hotte Consulting Inc. as well she served as the Small Business Advisor for the Rural Alberta Business Centre in Cold Lake. 

Dale Heffren

Treasurer

Dale has been a resident of Beaumont for over 18 years. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, with Eagle Eye Accounting Solutions and has been practicing in Beaumont for over 5 years. He has over 20 years of experience as an executive, business owner and entrepreneur and has held positions of CFO and COO for various companies. Being a business owner and entrepreneur, he enjoys workings with clients and sharing his experience and knowledge as he develops business plans and tax strategies for businesses and individuals. He has also been a member of various boards and committees and continually looks for ways to be involved in the community and support local organizations.

Ashely Kingsbury

Ashley is the manager of the Beaumont Farmers Market and owner of Gimmie All The Cakes here in Beaumont. She has assisted the city of Beaumont in marketing the Beaumont Days event for the past two years. She has been an active member of our home based business community and hopes to engage with the Beaumont business community taking on the Director of Membership portfolio on the Chamber Board of Directors.

Chiile Muzongwe

Business Development Director

Chiile is a commercial insurance advisor with the family run Co-operators in Beaumont. A UofA bachelor of science alumni and a talented entrepreneur, Chiile is highly skilled in business development and using his knowledge to help owners and entrepreneurs protect and strengthen their businesses to succeed. He has extensive experience working with rural and urban communities as well other diverse business environments and is passionate about opportunities that will attract meaningful investments to Beaumont. Chiile is keen to work with local businesses, government, and stake holders to make Beaumont a leader in developing and supporting entrepreneurs and is ready to hear and work with you to achieve this.

Owner of RPH Consulting Services, Ron is an industry guru that inspires mobile solutions, with has more than 45 years in the communications industry. Ron led the transition from the Beaumont Business Association to the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, as the First Beaumont Chamber of Commerce President

City of Beaumont Council Liaison

Bill moved from Saskatoon to Beaumont with his wife Darlen and their three children, Jordan, Gabbie and Thomas in 2006. The ideas of raising their family in a small community while being close to a large centre was very appealing. Beaumont did and continues to deliver a great family experience. Bill is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Political Science and History. Bill's working career has included three years in general insurance, eight years in radio sales and over 25 years in in the employee benefits field working on both the client and the insurer side of the business. He was recently employed as an Account Executive with Alberta Blue Cross before leaving to become Beaumont's full-time Mayor. Since joining Council in 2017 as a first-time Councillor and now as Mayor in 2021, Bill has and will continue to devote himself to his responsibilities and takes great pride in his role as your Mayor. Bill loves to play golf and he and his wife Darlene are avid travellers.

Tricia is a Certified Health Insurance Specialist and Elder Planning Counsellor. She has served families and self-employed individuals for over 20 yrs. She earned a BA with Honors from Dalhousie University and an Associate Degree in Science from Camosun College. In her free time, Tricia enjoys spending time with her 2 Miniature Australian Shepherds Bruin (2) and Jasper (11). She is a proud auntie to her nephew Amis. She donates her time and resources to local charities. Tricia is proud to live and work in Beaumont.
