    About the Marketing Panel Discussion:
    Join us to learn from local marketing experts and local business owners experienced in growing businesses where we will discuss marketing strategies that will enable you to improve client retention, grow sales, improve your effectiveness with referral partners and improve your brand recognition.

    In the weeks following the Marketing Panel Discussion, we will be running a Marketing Workshop Series: "Triple Threat" 3 Topics of Marketing Strategy to proved you hands on experience with marketing strategies and enable you to effectively implement your marketing program. 

    Meet your Panelists:
    Jenifer Horvath is passionate about supporting women to achieve their goals, in their own way. Jenifer works at Alberta Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) as a business advisor and coach helping Alberta women start, build and scale their businesses. When she’s not at AWE, she runs her own business, HeartLifted, coaching moms to move from surviving to thriving.

    She has over 20 years of marketing, product management, management consulting, and coaching experience. She’s worked with international organizations like Playtex, Campbell Soup, and EPCOR; Alberta-based organizations like Alberta Motor Association, Alberta Milk, SAIT and Edmonton Economic Development; and many small businesses and start-ups. Having developed and implemented many strategic plans, she offers high-level insights as well as executional discipline.


    Jessica Laccetti, Ph.D,
    Jessica Laccetti, Ph.D, is a digital communications expert. Jessica can tell your business story to expand your reach and drive engagement. Since 2000 Jessica has been combining her love of words with technology. Jessica runs her own consulting firm, is adjunct professor at the University of Alberta, and volunteers in her community.




    Marleen Martin, Marketing Specialist
    Marleen Martin has a rich and varied background including Recreation Director for the City of Calgary, years as an elementary/middle school teacher and over 35 in the hospitality industry in various roles. Her formal education includes degrees with Distinction in Kinesiology and Education.  A zest for travel and love for working with people took her to the years skies where she worked as a flight attendant with Westjet for 5 years.  The world of business then lured her in when she became owner of Fully Promoted, a promotional products and marketing services company and Magnetsigns an advertising company. Bringing her passion for learning and sharing knowledge into the business world, she has delved into the marketing field; she enjoy’s the challenge of staying current in an ever changing marketing world.
     
    Marleen spent 18 years as a hockey mom of her 2 boys she proudly raised.  She wasn’t ready to leave the rink however as she’s now joined a women’s league. Other passions include being crew member for a drag racing team, running and her 4 legged grand babies.

    Whether you are a new business trying to get it right the first time, or an established business looking to boost your business, you want to find the right marketing solutions that will provide measurable results and help you meet your business growth goals. These weekly interactive workshops will attempt to change the way you think about and implement your marketing program.  We’ll show you how to develop and implement proven marketing strategies, branding and messaging, all things social media and more.

    We will provide water, coffee, tea and a light snack for those who need a quick boost of energy and hydration

    These will be a working session so bring your Laptop/Digital Device on which you wish to create and get ready to dive into our relevant marketing topics.

    2. October 25, 2018 - Leveraging LinkedIn for Business
    3. November 1, 2018 - Building a Brand Image
    All workshops will begin promptly at 8:8:30am and will wrap up at 10:30am and will take place at the CCBCC (5204 50 Ave, Beaumont)
