With over 396 million members worldwide, LinkedIn is the largest professional network in the world and comes with a bucket load of benefits for business owners. It started off as a site for recruitment agencies and jobseekers, but LinkedIn now has both private and public sector businesses eager for a presence. With two new members joining every second of every day, there is a huge amount of potential to be gained by being involved too.
Our LinkedIn Training Workshop will demonstrate and explain the key features of LinkedIn and how these can provide benefits to you and your business. By the end of the session you will have gained confidence in navigating around the site and developing connections to build relationships further.

Jessica Laccetti, Ph.D, is a digital communications expert. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Alberta where she has also had the opportunity to lecture at universities across Canada and the UK.
Jessica also owns a consulting firm specializing in social media business & education strategy, social education, online learning, community management, customer/learner engagement, blogging. She often consults for government, NPOs and SMEs usually with a focus on social media in relation to education/learning, transliteracy, new media, digital humanities or agriculture
