    Curtis has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, holding leadership positions in both retail and business banking. He's currently the Director of The ATB Financial Entrepreneur Centre.
    Throughout his career, Curtis has been involved with various Chamber of Commerce boards include Chair of the Grand Falls (NB) chamber for over 3 years.
    Curtis is originally from Eastern Canada and fully bilingual. Curtis and his family are proud residents of Beaumont since 2015.

    Henry Mui
    Henry has been involved in the financial industry for over 30 years, who has worked from the regulatory environment (stock exchange) and on the institutional sales/trading to his current position as a mobile Investment Specialist for Scotiabank, with experiences in Canada, Asia and the US.
    Henry holds a B.A., CIM (Charted Investment Manager) designation, completed numerous courses offered by the Canadian Securities Institute.

Ron led the transition from the Beaumont Business Association to the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, as the First Beaumont Chamber of Commerce President.

    Kathryn is the President & Chief Learning Officer for her company Hotte Training as well she served as the Small Business Advisor for the Rural Alberta Business Centre in Cold Lake, where she received 2 awards from the Economic Developers of Alberta; one in 2016 for the RABC Business Incubator and the second EDA award for Raising the Roof in Rural Alberta.

    Kelly Hoy
    Kelly articled with an international accounting firm and has over 10 years of accounting and tax experience working with owner managed businesses in a wide variety of industries. He has a strong understanding of Canadian tax having completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course and can help you develop detailed tax strategies to plan for growth and minimize tax implications. He is actively involved as the treasurer of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce and is always looking to help new businesses grow and succeed.

    Jessica is a digital communications expert. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Alberta where she has also had the opportunity to lecture at universities across Canada and the UK.
    Jessica also owns a consulting firm specializing in social media business & education strategy, social education, online learning, community management, customer/learner engagement, blogging.  She often consults for government, NPOs and SMEs usually with a focus on social media in relation to education/learning, transliteracy, new media, digital humanities or agriculture

    Rob Mackin
    Director, Economic Development
    Rob joined the city of Beaumont as the Director of Economic Development in May 2018 and is excited to be part of this dynamic community.  Rob brings a broad range of experience to the Economic Development team in Beaumont with both private and public experience firmly under his belt. 
    Between 2013-2017, Rob was the Mayor of the Town of Hinton. Previous to taking the helm in Hinton, Rob co-owned a small business in Hinton and also worked as a consultant in the utility sector. Before moving to Hinton, Rob worked for over a decade in the utility sector in Calgary. Rob has also 
    worked in the technology and commercial real estate sector, and holds a Bachelor of Communications Degree in Public Relations.

    Councilor Kelly-Lynn Lewis
    Kelly-Lynn Lewis was elected for her first term on Leduc County council on Oct. 16, 2017. Lewis is focused on fostering trust and communication in division two, while advocating for road improvements to better serve residents. Lewis has been a Leduc County resident since 2013 and, prior to being elected to Leduc County council, she worked as a restaurant manager, bookkeeper for a small business and manager of a buy-and-sell shop.

    Honorable Mayor John Stewart
    Mayor Stewart has lived in Beaumont since 2008. Mayor Stewart previously served on council from 2010-2013 as a councillor and was elected Mayor in the fall of 2017.  Besides being Mayor of Beaumont, Mayor Stewart remains active in the community coaching soccer and serving as a volunteer firefighter.
    Mayor Stewart is married to Andrea and has four children George (11), Tabitha (9), Ryan (7), and Hannah (5).  In his other day job Mayor Stewart has worked in the construction industry for the past 22 years and is currently a Project Manager in the electrical department at TWS Engineering Ltd.  Mayor Stewart was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal for his volunteer work within the province of Alberta

    Councilor Kelly Vandenberghe
    Kelly Vandenberghe was elected for his first term on Leduc County council on Oct. 16, 2017. He has lived in the Leduc region since 1970 and currently resides near Kavanagh where he operates a self-sustaining livestock operation and greenhouse. Prior to being elected to Leduc County council, Vandenberghe worked in the oilfield and heavy equipment auction industry and as a small generator solar PV designer and private sewage designer/installer. He is a long-time community volunteer, and has served as a paid, on-call firefighter with Leduc County Fire Services in both the Nisku and New Sarepta fire districts.

    Tricia LaLonde
    Tricia is a Certified Health Insurance Specialist and Elder Planning Counsellor. She has served families and self-employed individuals for over 20 yrs. She earned a BA with Honors from Dalhousie University and an Associate Degree in Science from Camosun College.
    In her free time, Tricia enjoys spending time with her 2 Miniature Australian Shepherds Bruin (2) and Jasper (11). She is a proud auntie to her nephew Amis. She donates her time and resources to local charities. Tricia is proud to live and work in Beaumont.
