Curtis has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, holding leadership positions in both retail and business banking. He's currently the Director of The ATB Financial Entrepreneur Centre.
Throughout his career, Curtis has been involved with various Chamber of Commerce boards include Chair of the Grand Falls (NB) chamber for over 3 years. Curtis is originally from Eastern Canada and fully bilingual. Curtis and his family are proud residents of Beaumont since 2015.
Lisa has over 25 years of leadership experience, with a background and certifications as an Executive Coach and World Class Speaking Coach.
She is a recognized and respected communication expert, executive coach, and international speaker.
Being a high-capacity leader with extensive experience coaching motivated entrepreneurs and executive professionals, Lisa is uniquely skilled at simplifying complex problems and creating actionable and effective solutions.
Kathryn, President & Chief Learning Office, Hotte Consulting, brings with her 30+ years of experience in sales and corporate executive management as well as developing and facilitating training programs in over 16 countries. Kathryn has received many accolades over the years, including national and international awards for sales achievement, Economic Development of Alberta awards for RABC Business Incubator and Raising the Roof in Rural Alberta, Women of Influence Award in the Business & Professional Category and, most notably, a Training Excellence award from the Canadian Society for Training & Development. She was formerly the President of the Durham Ontario Home & Small Business Association in Ontario and received a Business of the Year Award through that association. Kathryn is the President & Chief Learning Officer for her company Hotte Consulting Inc. as well she served as the Small Business Advisor for the Rural Alberta Business Centre in Cold Lake.
Bill is a licensed real estate professional at Gordon WR King & Associates Real Estate Corp, he owns MACNAM Consulting, and he previously served two terms as Councilor for the Town of Beaumont.
Henry has been involved in the financial industry for over 30 years, who has worked from the regulatory environment (stock exchange) and on the institutional sales/trading to his current position as a mobile Investment Specialist for Scotiabank, with experiences in Canada, Asia and the US.
Henry holds a B.A., CIM (Charted Investment Manager) designation, completed numerous courses offered by the Canadian Securities Institute.
Pat has been in the food service industry for 35 years and is a Journeyman Baker who worked for Beaumont Sobeys for 24 years.
Pat owns his own company after turning his attention in life to being a Personal Chef, last August he started his company ‘Parties By Pat’.

Owner of RPH Consulting Services, Ron is an industry guru that inspires mobile solutions, with has more than 45 years in the communications industry. Ron led the transition from the Beaumont Business Association to the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, as the First Beaumont Chamber of Commerce President.

Jessica Laccetti, Ph.D
Jessica's professional experience intertwines theory and practice. She holds a PhD in Creative Technologies and she is an active entrepreneur, educator, and practitioner. She is an Adjunct Professor with the University of Alberta's Master's in Communications and Technology while running Jessica Laccetti Communications. She lives and breathes social media and loves helping businesses grow.
In the U.K. she lectured while researching her ph.d and then post doc. When she moved to Canada, she lectured at Grant MacEwan University for a year before being asked to join the University of Alberta where she is an adjunct professor. She runs a Master's course that she designed which she adores! She also taught (after having created) most of the courses on the Social Media Citation.

Roza Sabety is an experienced leader with over 13 years working in the financial services industry. With a Bachelor of Commerce Degree Roza has worked as a Customer Service Representative, Assistant Branch Manager, Financial Advisor, and Manager of Credit and Risk. She is skilled in business planning, banking, self-management, and Communication. Roza started with the ABCU Credit Union family in January 2017. She started as the Manager of Credit and Risk and has now moved into the position of Leader of Advisory Services. Roza is osteosarcoma survivor and she provides counselling to individuals going through osteosarcoma treatment at the Cross Cancer Institute.

Brian A. Howland
Brian brings 22 years of experience in electrical services, and is the owner of All Terrain Electric Inc. He attained his Red Seal Journeyman Electrician and a certification for Power Systems Electrician, as well he is an accomplished Master Mason of the Grand Lodge of Alberta. Brian is highly knowledgeable in industry standards, and combines his leadership and construction background with his technical knowledge, to deliver practical, and economical solutions for his customers. Brian is avid in lowering power consumption using smart home systems, solar energy and lighting upgrades. Brian, his wife, JoAnn with their two sons, recently moved to Beaumont from Edmonton. Brian, with All Terrain Electric, was a presenting sponsor for École Champs Vallée Voyegeur Vortex Fun Run Fundraiser for the new playground on September 28th, where he and his wife also volunteered their time. Brian is an active member of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, BNI Marquees Beaumont Chapter, The Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta, Canadian Historical Arms Society and The Freemason Society of Norwood Lodge #90.

Dale has been a resident of Beaumont for over 18 years. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, with Eagle Eye Accounting Solutions and has been practicing in Beaumont for over 5 years. He has over 20 years of experience as an executive, business owner and entrepreneur and has held positions of CFO and COO for various companies. Being a business owner and entrepreneur, he enjoys workings with clients and sharing his experience and knowledge as he develops business plans and tax strategies for businesses and individuals. He has also been a member of various boards and committees and continually looks for ways to be involved in the community and support local organizations.

Hunter Gates has over three decades in the arts and entertainment field and is the founder of RuminariLive Art where under her direction, they are host to local, regional, national and international professionals and novices. She is working on many projects involving her passions of theatre, art, film, education and people. As a Director/performer, Hunter travels with an international team of hospital clowns to Ecuador, Costa Rica and Mexico. For the past 32 years, she works internationally on indie film as a stunt coordinator. Hunter has worked in England, France, Germany, Greece, Egypt, South Africa, Mexico and the Dominican Republic as lecturer, director, actor and teacher. She is a certified stage combat instructor, a Lecoqian pedagog and a certified Stunt performer and teacher. She has been in the industry for more than thirty-three years and now is the Managing Director of RuminariLive Arts in Beaumont. She was the founding artistic director (1996 to 2016) of The Hunter Gates Academy of Physical Theatre, a school specializing in training, new-play creation and international collaborations. Dr. Gates provides artistic innovation and dedication to the voice and spirit of the community. Hunter specializes in the creation of programs for seniors, adults, and at-risk youth.

City of Beaumont LiaisonRob MackinDirector, Economic DevelopmentRob joined the city of Beaumont as the Director of Economic Development in May 2018 and is excited to be part of this dynamic community. Rob brings a broad range of experience to the Economic Development team in Beaumont with both private and public experience firmly under his belt.
Between 2013-2017, Rob was the Mayor of the Town of Hinton. Previous to taking the helm in Hinton, Rob co-owned a small business in Hinton and also worked as a consultant in the utility sector. Before moving to Hinton, Rob worked for over a decade in the utility sector in Calgary. Rob has also worked in the technology and commercial real estate sector, and holds a Bachelor of Communications Degree in Public Relations.

Tricia is a Certified Health Insurance Specialist and Elder Planning Counsellor. She has served families and self-employed individuals for over 20 yrs. She earned a BA with Honors from Dalhousie University and an Associate Degree in Science from Camosun College.
In her free time, Tricia enjoys spending time with her 2 Miniature Australian Shepherds Bruin (2) and Jasper (11). She is a proud auntie to her nephew Amis. She donates her time and resources to local charities. Tricia is proud to live and work in Beaumont.
City of Beaumont Council Liaison
Honorable Mayor John Stewart
Mayor Stewart has lived in Beaumont since 2008. Mayor Stewart previously served on council from 2010-2013 as a councillor and was elected Mayor in the fall of 2017. Besides being Mayor of Beaumont, Mayor Stewart remains active in the community coaching soccer and serving as a volunteer firefighter.
Mayor Stewart is married to Andrea and has four children George (11), Tabitha (9), Ryan (7), and Hannah (5). In his other day job Mayor Stewart has worked in the construction industry for the past 22 years and is currently a Project Manager in the electrical department at TWS Engineering Ltd. Mayor Stewart was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal for his volunteer work within the province of Alberta
